Popular Trends for Walls and Flooring for Fall
Wood-look flooring is something that is growing ever popular. While there is still a place in the world for real wood flooring, the price point, color collection, and durability of laminate, vinyl, and tile wood-look flooring is quickly taking over! Gone are the days of blonde or dark colored wood covering the floor. Now, wood-look options are favoring greys, sometimes even with a splash of color! The great thing about these textures is that they almost have a rubbery texture to them so they are actually softer under your feet, absorbing sounds better and doing your back a favor! If you don’t like traditional planks, spice it up with herringbone or hexagonal patterns.
Carrara(Carrera) marble is another natural look that is popular right now. This beautiful medium is mostly seen in black or white, or a mixture of the two. There has definitely been a shift to white tones in the recent future and white(with grey) Carrara is a beautiful look for both floors, counters, and walls. We have Carrara in a variety of different shapes and sizes, including square, rectangle, and subway tiles.
Forget flooring for a second and let’s talk walls! We’ve seen enough about backsplashes at this point, but what about your main living space? What can you do to dress up a space other than paint and wall art? One of our favorite looks for an accent wall has always been faux brick! There are so many brands that are making it look more realistic than ever and offering fresh new color combinations to match the style of your home!
We have only scratched the surface by talking about some of the looks we carry at Four Seasons Flooring. Come to either or our showrooms in Myrtle Beach and you will be floored(pun intended!) at the selection you will find!
